Who am I?

My name is Guillermina Orozco but everyone calls me Mina.

I am nothing special in this world, just a girl who is trying to get to know herself, to learn to follow her dreams, to not be afraid.

“If there’s one thing Ive learned in all of my years, in all of my journeys, is that when it comes to dreams, one may falter, but the only way to fail is to abandon them.”

It was recommended to me that I should write thing down and being a dutiful girl I have obeyed — even though I am not a writer.

I’ve never written on a blog or even had a personal paper journal. I never felt the need, still don’t, to write things down, but they said it would be good for me.

Only time will tell, right?

They say I never lose hope and they are right, I don’t, I am forever hopeful for it’s how I have survived living this dark cruel world.
Hence the name Hopeful Mina

Starting a blog seems easier (and safer) because a journal can be found — at this time I don’t desire to be found.

  1. I hope your blog helps you! I do not find a need to write either because I do not feel like there is anything worth writing.

I keep thinking writing will help, but like you… I don’t want it to be found. I write and then rip up the paper. Blogging seems like a better idea. It’s so interesting to read about people who think they same way you do.

    Wishing you the best.
